The art of trailers – Part 1

Published on 14 May 2011

It’s been a while since I last posted. We’ve been writing. A lot. For many of our American screenwriting idols, their first screenplay to be filmed is the 11th screenplay they wrote. Why is it always the 11th script?! Is that a lucky, or unlucky, number? Anyways, the faster we get to our 11th script, the better. Regardless, you’ll see The Hitman’s Cookbook before then!

Now, to the art of trailers. A lost art. Check out this trailer for Nicolas Winding Refn’s upcoming thriller, Drive. It whets the appetite without giving away the entire plot. That makes a great trailer. Count me curious.
